Steps for Approval of a New Doctoral Program
Doctoral proposals need approval at the following levels prior to implementation:
- Department Curriculum Committee
- College Curriculum Committee
- College Dean's Office
- Graduate School
- Graduate Council
- Faculty Senate
- Office of the Provost
- Office of the President
- University of Texas System Board of Regents
- Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board

To begin your graduate studies at UTSA, the first step is to submit an on-line application.
Inquire here for more information to be
sent to you on one of UTSA's 21 Doctoral, 49 Master's or 12 Graduate Certificate Programs.
